How does the Zoom! In-Office System work?
The active ingredient in The Zoom! whitening gel is hydrogen peroxide. As hydrogen peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin, bleaching any discoloration while maintaing the structure of the tooth. The Zoom! light aids in activating the hydrogen peroxide and helps to penetrate the surface of the tooth.
Is the Zoom! in office procedure painful?

Are there any side effects?

How long is the procedure?
The entire procedure takes approximately two hours. The procedure begins with a preparation period followed by three to four 20 minute sessions of bleaching. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. We recommend a cleaning prior to the actual Zoom! Whitening session.
